Confluence of Cultures

Growing up in Calcutta, you are bound to fall in love with the culture and architecture the city has to offer. The city of joy is a perfect mixture of old and modern. And what makes it even more beautiful is the perfect blend of cultures. 

The British Raj took away a lot from the country but unintentionally gave something back too. This project explores the differences between the varied cultures in Calcutta through architecture and how they have seamlessly adapted to one another and thrived together.
